(Source: City of Yuma, AZ) 16th St., 4th Ave. Construction for the 16th Street and 4th Avenue intersection improvements project could begin as soon as May 2. The project zone includes 4th Avenue between 15th Street and 17th Street, and 16th Street between 2nd Avenue and 6th Avenue. Improvements will consist of dual left-turn lanes and dedicated right-turn lanes at all four legs of the intersection and bike lanes as identified within the transportation element of the voter-approved General Plan.
